ROBOSURF: Paint quality in the production line
In line robotic solution.
The on-board sensor RoboSurf allows the automatic inspection of paint quality in the production line.
This technology is suitable to detect and classify all the defects linked to the painting process for a whole vehicle or an exterior component.
The integration of simulation tools allows the precise definition of the robot paths and the exact position of the defects on a complexe shape.
Performances:
- Positioning of the robot field by field.
- Measured field per acquisition: 1 m x 0.5 m
- Time of acquisition: 1.5 sec.
- Detection and identification of the defects: dust, scratch, porosity, flowing, fibre, orange peel, ...
- 3D location of the defects.
- Classification according to the tolerance thresholds.
- Statistical follow-up and data backup.
